Asphalt Botswana is a 100% Botswana Citizen owned company established in May 1987.

We are a market leading civil engineering construction company that specializes in road construction.
The company has one of the largest equipment fleet in Botswana and has over 36 years in operation, gained significant experience in a wide range of civil engineering works which include road construction, road surfacing and rehabilitation, infrastructure development, bulk earthworks, water pipelines, water treatment plants, elevated storage tanks as well as offer plant-hire services. We are currently operating in Botswana and its our strategic intent to grow our geographical foot print into the rest of Africa.

Our Services

Asphalt Botswana provide a wide range of services

Road Construction / Rehabilitation

All works (including earthworks, layer works,surfacing, storm water drainage, concretestructures, road signs, road marking and otherancillary items), done to contract specification

Surfacing of Pavements

This capacity supports both surfacing centriccontracts (large and small) and the constructionor rehabilitation.

Urban Infrastructural Development

This pertains to the development of commercial or residential and associated roads and storm water drainage, along with provision of various services such as sewer and water reticulation, all as specified.

Bulk Earth Works

Earthworks associated with the construction of road and dam embankments and open castmining activities.

Structural Concrete and Building

There is capacity to undertake both the construction of both reinforced concrete structures and commercial or domestic buildings.

Infrastructure Development

This speaks to the construction of new or rehabilitation of roads (both national and secondary routes), the development of urban infrastructure, bulk earthworks, the construction of concrete structures and buildings.

Asphalt Paving

Our teams serve the local market either on their own projects or as a sub-contractor. The quality of the end product is ensured by regular testing by our in-house laboratory. Our capability extends to new road construction, asphalt overlays and existing pavements and specialized applications.

Bituminous Surface Treatments

These surface treatments include: prime coat, tack coat, single and double seals, cape seal, slurry seal and fog spray; all of which are within the company's experience. Quality end product is supported by the regular calibration of distributors and the monitoring of material quality (bitumen and aggregate).

Surface Defects Repairs

The repairs relate to filling of surface depressions(ruts), crack sealing, patching of potholes and the reinstatement of edge break. The work is carried out to contract specification.
